Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is a Mexican musician who was born into a family of musicians. The music she grew up with was traditional Boleros from the past as well as classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana is a fan of tangos, as well as the dramatic and opera performances. She began singing and learning songs with her mother and commenced more serious singing training when she was 16 under the renown Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. The training in music continued at the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Then, she enrolled in The School of Sacred Music of Toluca. In her early career, she saw her perform with many opera choruses, chamber groups in Guadalajara. When she moved from Mexico to America in 2000, she sang for the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She performs solo Latin American music for private events and also as part of Ensemble XXI in Redlands. Her passion for singing, music as well as the arts keeps active in community projects both as an artist and instructor. Ana was also an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as well as members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Chorale for their permission to play traditional Latin American song.
